Have a look at the History page. We have added extracts from “The Story of St. Leonard’s Parish Church by Owsald B. Milligan, B.D. Minister of the Parish , which gives some interesting facts along with photographs.
This photo in particular dates back to the time when trams ran between Ayr and Prestwick, and if you look closely you can see one coming round the corner.
