For many years St. Leonards Church has been self-financing. Substantial and expensive capital expenditure programmes have been undertaken: Complete heating, lighting and sound systems, organ rebuilding, removal of blue asbestos, spire repair and hall renovation. All these works could not have been carried without the full support of the congregation through generous giving and especially donations and legacies.
